Rocky Realm

The summit you see here is basically a former coral reef...it's a sort of limestone, but a little bit more rare than the common limestone. This photo was taken in the area of Mount Hochkönig ("high king") in Austria. The day started quite foggy but then suddenly the fog lifted and I was rewarded with the nicest weather for a little hike. It's a very quiet place...at least until some rocks or old snow from the winter are getting loose and make their way to the valley. =)
